<p>The first few days after the release of Apple's latest iOS show that iPhone and iPad apps are crashing significantly less than in earlier versions of the mobile operating system.</p><p>The crash rate of apps under iOS 7.1 is 1.6 percent, according to performance monitoring firm Crittercism. That compares with rates above 2 percent for iOS 7, iOS 6.1 and iOS 6 versions.
