<p>EAST LANSING, MI -- For the first time ever, two Grandville robotics teams are among the top in the state and will show off their programming skills at the world championships next month.</p><p>Grandville Robodawgs' VEX teams 244A "Ad Carry" and 288E "TWACA" were among five of its middle school and high school teams that competed in the statewide VEX Robotics Championship at Michigan State University on Sunday, March 2. The two teams qualified for the 2014 VEX Robotics World Championship that will be held April 23-26 in Anaheim, Calif.</p><p>VEX Robotics is the largest middle school and high school robotics program in the world, with more than 8,000 teams this season. About 50 Michigan high school and middle school robotics teams competed during the three events at the state championships.
