Aiken residents can demo Atlantic Broadbands’s new TiVo digital entertainment service before it hits the consumer marketplace.
The demonstration will be held in the patio lounge on Dec. 7, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Grumpy’s Sports Pub, located at 216 East Gate Drive off Whiskey Road. The TiVo demo will coincide with the ACC and SEC college championship games.
“Atlantic Broadband will be hosting the demo in a lounge on the patio to include a big screen TV, couches and recliners where customers can sit through a demonstration and experience the new TiVo platform,” Diane Carragher, account manager for Matter Communications, said.
Atlantic Broadband announced last month with TiVo Inc. the beginning of the country’s first cable service provider to offer TiVo’s newest digital service. Customers of Atlantic Broadband will now have access to TiVo capabilities and services, including live streaming or recording shows to an iPad or iPhone anywhere in their homes.
