After a flurry of recent updates, Foursquare has just gone live with a revamped site, bringing the best of its mobile apps to the desktop.

The new Foursquare.com will:Detect where you are and highlight relevant locations based on time of day.The homepage will also highlight exclusive nearby offers and deals.Gives you highlights of any destination you choose, with tips from your friends if you’re logged in.

I’m currently in Montreal for example and below is a screenshot of my logged out homepage, providing a great overview of what’s happening in the city, where’s hot and offers nearby:
