<p>It's been almost a month now since iOS 7 rolled out into the market, and the reviews are coming in.</p><p>They're not pretty. Users are exploring their favorite applications and finding them lacking. Applause, Boston-based company uTest's tool that tracks mobile app reviews, examined app store evaluations mentioning iOS 7. It averaged the 1-5 star ratings and compared the numbers to previous app versions. Apps across the board are seeing a sharp decline in user satisfaction.</p><p>Applause has indexed 880,000 iOS apps, 5,500 have at least one review mentioning iOS 7. The average star rating of all iOS apps reviews is 3.56. The Average star rating of iOS apps reviews that mention iOS 7: 2.81. That means that iOS 7 apps are averaging almost a full star less in ratings.</p><p>People are pissed with the iOS 7 defects, looks, and feel. For some apps, that's because the company has not yet released an iOS 7 optimized version, so when someone updates their phone, their older apps are getting grafted onto the iOS operating system.
