<p>The Office of the Vocational Education Commission (Ovec) is developing a robotics teaching programme with the help of the manufacturing sector.</p><p>Ovec admits there are very few talented robotics teachers in Thailand, so turning to the industry for guidance was a logical move.</p><p>Ovec chairman Anusorn Sangnimnuan said the robotics programme is being drafted in partnership with entrepreneurs after the industrial robot industry began growing rapidly.</p><p>"Today, many robots are used in manufacturing. The trend towards automation is going to rise, so we have to produce people to handle this," Mr Anusorn said.
