On Wednesday, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) issued a press release saying that the streaming video lineup for its Apple TV set-top box had been strengthened with the addition of HBO Go (NYSE:TWX) and WatchESPN (NYSE:DIS).
Three other channels, Sky News, Crunchyroll, and Qello, which offer live news, sports, and current TV programming, have also been added to Apple TV’s app slate in select markets.
