With each new generation, the border surrounding your smartphone or HDTV's display gets smaller, bringing consumers closer to a truly bezel-free future. But with the introduction of products like Vizio's new M series TVs, thin, minimalist frames aren't only for those with deep pockets. Announced at CES in January and shipping now to retailers, the M series offers a "near borderless" design in screen sizes from 32-inches to 80-inches with prices ranging from $399.99 to $3,999.99.

Each comes equipped with a full 1080p panel with 240Hz refresh rates and LED edge lighting. Prospective owners can also spring for 3D-capable versions at added cost. Assuming you don't have multiple streaming boxes already, each model comes with Apps like Netflix, Hulu Plus, Vudu, Amazon VOD, and more pre-installed.

Vizio's M series displays are shipping to retailers now, including Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, and others.

Scott Lowe is IGN's resident tech expert and Executive Editor of IGN Tech.
