<p>CHILDREN at Webheath First School Academy have been given 15 netbook computers to help them with their studies, thanks to a gift of more than 6,000 from the school's Friends Association.</p><p>The Association also paid for a charging trolley for the computers and the associated software licenses.</p><p>A spokesman for the school, said: "We are extremely grateful to the Friends Association for all their fundraising efforts over the last year which have resulted in the school being able to purchase 15 new netbooks for the children to use during their lessons. The children are very happy with the new netbooks and it gives them a good introduction to technology at this early age."</p><p>In total the Webheath First School Academy Friends Association managed to raise 6,460 through a variety of fundraising activities including fish and chip lunches in the school, school discos, a sponsored walk over the Malvern Hills, raffles, cake sales and the school's Christmas Fayre.</p><p><a href="http://www.redditchadvertiser.co.uk/news/10440571.Netbook_computers_for_Webheath_First_School_pupils/">Keep reading...</a></p>
