<p>4K TVs are visual deliciousness in a box but are a little (to put it lightly) out of reach for peasants like us as they come with a price tag either equal to the cost of a car or are only considered cheap because they're graciously not priced like a car. Eyegasms ain't cheap friends. But one company whose name I'm not even sure how to pronounce is trying to change the whole damn game. SEIKI has a 50-inch 4K TV for only $1,300. Yeah.</p><p>To be specific, SEIKI's 4K TV is a 2160p 120Hz LED HDTV with 3840 x 2160 resolution. It has a 5000:1 contrast ratio, 6.5ms response time, comes with 3 HDMI ports and a VGA port. You might not be able to watch that much 4K content right now but for around the same price as a regular ol' 1080p screen? Gets you thinking, right?</p><p>Still. Spending over a grand on a no-name TV brand when you don't really need a 4K TV yet is not unlike putting your rent money on green in roulette. The thrill might be worth the spin but it's probably not worth the stress. We'll try to get our eyes on this cheapo 4K set when we can.
