Facebook, TiVo wrestle over ‘thumbs up’ icon

<p>TiVo is disputing Facebook's claim over the trademarked "thumbs up" icon.</p><p>Facebook and TiVo are in a trademark dispute over which company owns the humble "thumbs up" icon.</p><p>In 2010, Facebook trademarked the icon that has permeated every corner of the site, with more than a billion people "liking" status updates, photos, videos, links and pages every day.</p><p>In October, TiVo challenged that trademark filing, arguing it's been using thumbs up and thumbs down icons in its DVR software since 1999.</p><p><a href="http://www.bizjournals.com/sanjose/news/2013/03/27/facebook-tivo-wrestle-over-thumbs.html">Keep reading...</a></p>
