Blogging platform Tumblr on Monday rolled out a new version of its iOS app, which comes with several improvements and new features.
Most notably, the latest iteration of the app (version 3.3) comes with a brand-new camera, which should make it easier to post photos to your blog. The new camera lets you adjust the flash, add gridlines when taking a photo, and access your galleries with a swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
Also on the photo front, you’ll now be able to create and share photo collections from within the app. This capability was previously only available on iOS devices through a standalone app called Photoset, which Tumblr released in this past October.
Version 3.3 also lets you double tap posts to like them, and change your avatar by simply tapping on it. Finally, the app will now automatically retrieve titles when you copy or enter a URL to post.
