SIBU: Computer Sales and Services Association, Sarawak, (CSSA) members are appealing to the government to allow them to participate in the distribution of 1Malaysia netbooks as this free programme has crippled their business.
Its chairman Victor Kuan claimed members’ sales had been halved by the free distribution of the netbooks.
He added that giving CSSA members a lifeline was crucial as they employed about 10,000 workers statewide.
