The BlackBerry 10 is the latest platform the company has launched along with their handsets, the Z10 and Q10. Looking at it, the massive overhaul is pretty obvious, from interface to features. But what makes it a re-invented version of the previous BlackBerry OSs? Let’s take a look at each one.
First of all, if you look at the Z10, you may notice the complete lack of physical or capacitive buttons on screen. How you can get around with is through bezel swiping, first introduced in the BlackBerry Playbook. You’ll be able to see up to eight running apps, though only four can fit in a screen and you’ll have to scroll down to see the rest. Also, since there is no back button, the same bezel swipe as unlocking the smartphone, swiping from down to up.
At this point you can swipe it left or right that either side have their own use.
If you swipe the screen toward the left the app icons will pop up. The apps here can be reaaranged or placed into folders together. If you can drag an app icon and place it over another app, this will create a folder, which you can name. Below is a shortcut bar with quick access to three apps: Phone, Search, and Camera.
