Judging by the early response, iPhone owners seem very happy to have Google Maps back on their smartphones.
Google exec Jeff Huber revealed through the search giant’s social network that the long-awaited app topped 10 million downloads within the first 48 hours after its release.
The return of Google’s map application ends a three-month absence from the mobile iOS platform after Apple decided to drop the app in favor of its own.
