<p>Students searching for their niche in the Park need look no further than P-CEP's FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Team, Lightning Robotics.</p><p>"Before I joined Robotics, I thought it was geeky, weird and only for dorks. My view completely changed when I had to get my brother in the middle of building the robot. It opened my eyes into the world of FIRST, It's for anyone who wants to learn." said Bridget Maul, Salem senior and team veteran.</p><p>Others experienced the competitions and were hooked. Kristin Todd, alum of the team and Plymouth grad, said, "I fell in love with the atmosphere, people and energy from the very first match."</p><p>There is no need to be shy if you think you don't know anything. Rookies spend one day rotating among the five main subgroups: CAD, programming, electrical, marketing and fabrication, allowing them to experiment with various career paths.
