Qantas Airways has decided to buck the trend of full-service international carriers providing internet connectivity on their latest aircraft types, citing poor take up of the service in a recent trial.
An eight-month trial on selected Qantas flights flown by the Airbus A380 superjumbo to Los Angeles and London gave passengers access to internet and email on their own laptops or hand-held devices.
