MANILA, PHILIPPINES Lenovo Philippines on Wednesday launched its newest IdeaPad laptops which aim to bridge the gap between the no-frills netbook computers and the traditional laptops.
The computer-maker’s IdeaPads S300 and S400 are positioned as “affordable thin and light” for consumers who want more computing power than a netbook and longer battery life than the traditional laptop and with a much lower price point.
“Lenovo believes in offering a balanced product portfolio that appeal to our customers’ needs and preferences. The new IdeaPad S300 and S400 offer consumers more than just functionality. They’re small and lightweight with the power that allows them to do everything from web browsing to productivity tasks, all at an affordable package,” said Vicky Agorrilla, country general manager of Lenovo Philippines:
The S300 and S400 are less than an inch thick — 21.9mm thin to be exact — and weigh only 1.8kgs.
