LG upgrades flagship smartphone to revive fortunes

SEOUL, South KoreaSouth Korean handset maker LG Electronics Inc. has upgraded its flagship smartphone model with a faster chip and a longer battery life, hoping to regain ground lost to more nimble rivals.
