Star Trek-style ‘tricorder’ invention offered $10m prize

The “tricorder” was a popular device on Star Trek with its ability to detect an assortment of bodily ills. Now X Prize is offering $10 million for a working device able to capture “key health metrics and diagnosing a set of 15 diseases”.
