Shake, rattle and … power up?

<A target="_blank" href="http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2011/power-from-vibrations-0914.html">Researchers at MIT are working on a tiny energy harvester, </A>a device that can gather energy from low-frequency vibrations such as humming machinery, to generate power. The aim is to generate 100 microwatts for powering smart sensors.
