ARM could breath new life into laptops

<A target="_blank" href="http://www.networkworld.com/news/2011/072811-arm-could-breath-new-life.html?source=nww_rss">ARM chips use less power than x86 processors</A>, which would mean longer battery life. But they aren't as fast, which would mean waiting for processes to finish. Still. A touch-screen device with reasonable performance and long battery life would be nice.
