Tiny Capsules Can Heal Worn-Out Batteries

Microspheres, containing indium gallium arsenide, embedded inside the graphite of a battery anode can be used to repair the tiny cracks that develop due to charge/discharge cycles. The technology could be used on batteries in phones and cars.
