Vendors closing in on 1Gbps using DSL

DSL is not where you expect to get 1Gbps speeds. But at the Broadband World Forum in Paris, Nokia Siemens Networks said it can transmit at speeds of up to 825Mbps and Alcatel-Lucent claims it has achieved 910Mbps for short runs.
