Dog-owner prevented from finding pet under Data Protection Act

Dave Moorhouse had a microchip put in his Jack Russell terrier, so he could locate the dog if it went missing. Then, in 2007, the dog was stolen. Now the provider has told Mr. Moorhouse they know where his dog is, but they’re prohibited for giving him the information.
