International Kindle Gets No Web Access Outside U.S.

<A target="_blank" href="http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2009/10/international-kindle-crippled-at-launch-no-web-access-outside-us/">The logic of this decision seems to be lacking</A>, until you consider the roaming charges AT&T may be charging Amazon for access. But then there are shipping charges from the U.S. and a U.S. power plug making the device look less and less "international".
