Toolkit turns gamers into developers

Peter Walsh, one of the creators of hit games including Crackdown, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, F1 Career Challenge, and Harry Potter and Chamber of Secrets released Volume I of the Zen Game Bible; a guide that can turn any video game player into a professional-quality game developer. Volumes II and III are set for release over the coming weeks.

Spread across three volumes, the Zen Game Bible teaches everything the industry professionals use to create high performance 3D games including how to program in C++, how to work with Windows and DirectX, and how to use the computational power of 3D hardware. Additionally, everything in the Zen Game Bible is transferable to making games for consoles like the Xbox 360.
