Fujitsu Siemens Computers has introduced a new range of professional notebooks, all of which have integrated 3G connectivity.
The Esprimo series of laptops, which will go on sale in August, has three models, ranging from the 12.1-inch U9200 ultraportable to the 15.4-inch D9500 desktop replacement model. All are based on Intel Core 2 Duo chipsets and feature wide screens.
Notebooks with integrated 3G have become more common over the past year and, at one point, the technology was even due to be included in Intel’s Santa Rosa processing platform. Intel is widely expected to include mobile WiMax connectivity instead in the next generation of its chipsets.
