Security patch For Palm OS Treos

Over the weekend, Palm released a software update to correct <A HREF="http://www.palmblvd.com/articles/2007/5/2007-5-21-Alert-Palm-Posts.html">a bug in the password protection feature</A> of three Palm platform (Garnet OS) Treos, the Treo 650, 680 and 700p.

According to Palm, when password protection is enabled, it can be partially circumvented by running the Find feature while on the "Make Emergency Call" screen.
