Research In Motion introduced the BlackBerry Mobile Voice System, the first integrated enterprise solution to enable the seamless convergence of a BlackBerry smartphone with an office desk phone. This integrated offering includes enhancements to the BlackBerry Device Software, BlackBerry Enterprise Server and Ascendent Voice Mobility Suite from Ascendent Systems and allows BlackBerry smartphone users to be securely authenticated to the enterprise telephony system.
