Virgin Mobile USA said it has agreed to <A HREF="http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1759,2108664,00.asp?kc=EWRSS03119TX1K0000594">make Yahoo's mobile services available</A> to more than 4.6 million wireless customers.
Starting in early April, Yahoo Mail and Yahoo Messenger can be downloaded onto several Virgin Mobile handsets, and the applications will be preloaded on select phones in the future, Virgin Mobile said.
The two companies will make additional mobile services from Yahoo available on Virgin Mobile handsets in the coming months, including a range of SMS services such as search and messaging.
