Treasure Island goes wireless

The City of Treasure Island signed a contract yesterday with Citi WiFi Networks approving the installation of a highly anticipated <A HREF="http://www.prweb.com//releases/2006/11/prweb466405.htm">wireless Broadband network.</A> When the network is up and running, everyone in town with a WiFi enabled devices, like laptops and PDAs, will see the city's landing page which will display free access to the City's Web page, the Chamber of Commerce's Web page, the hotel and motel association, maps and local business listings. Local businesses will be able to advertise right on this citywide homepage.
