PointSync 3.1, XMap integration

<A HREF="http://www.prweb.com/releases/2006/4/prweb373493.htm">MobileDataforce and DeLorme</A> announced the integration of the PointSync mobile application development kit and XMap that together provide a full featured GIS mapping and field service development environment. DeLorme's XMap/GIS platform offers a full set of spatial tools including access to existing GIS data, import and export of ESRI Shapefiles, data creating and editing tools, and Web publishing of GIS data. PointSync suite is an enterprise-grade software system for rapid deployment of database centric mobility applications on handheld computers.
