Palm announced that medical device manufacturer FoxHollow Technologies has deployed more than 330 Palm Treo smartphones running GoodLink from Good Technology to help its highly mobile sales force, senior management and other employees maintain contact with physicians and colleagues while in the field. FoxHollow manufactures an FDA-cleared medical device called the SilverHawk Plaque Excision System that helps doctors remove fatty blockages (called plaque) that impede blood flow in the legs.
