Ericsson files patent suit

Mobile network gear giant Ericsson has filed suit against mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics, alleging patent infringement. A Samsung representative in Seoul declined to comment. Patent infringement and other legal battles can be quite common in the tech sector, where companies spend heavily on research and development.
