Schools implement iris-scanning

Using a $369,000 federal grant, a New Jersey school district hired Eyemetrics Identity Solutions to implement hardware by LG and HP and software by IrisAccess and Newton Security that together form a system which only allows building access to so-called white-listed individuals. Each student is allowed to green-light four people, which puts a cap on the number of folks that have access to a given building.
