It is the first U.S. phone based on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 software that has a real cell phone keypad instead of a small computer-like keyboard. Companies like Palm and UTStarcom offer phones that run on Windows Mobile 5.0 but they're typically geared towards corporate customers and feature keyboard-like keypads.
