Nintendo announced it is slashing the price for the Nintendo DS from $149.99 to $129.99, effective August 21. Sp, far this move is only for the American market. Nintendo hopes that this gives you another excuse to buy a Nintendo DS to be ready for the upcoming Nintendo WiFi Connection, the wireless gaming service to launch later this year with a Mario Kart racing game and an Animal Crossing community-building game.
