Local weather comes to smartphones

SmartVideo Technologies has expanded its relationship with The Weather Channel to include <A HREF="http://www.smartvideo.com/news.html">local forecasts for 100 cities across the country.</A> The Weather Channel has created a made-for-mobile service that will enable SmartVideo subscribers to view on-demand video clips, including forecasts presented by an expert from The Weather Channel, as well as clearly legible maps, graphics and other information.
