PDA developers uniting

Several <A HREF="http://www.esd-union.com/">PDA developers are banding together</A> due to what they see as unreasonable rate hikes by the companies behind PalmGear, PocketGear, Smartphone.net and other ESD (Electronic Sales Distributors) sites. It's claimed that these sites have a virtual monopoly on handheld software distribution and have used this monopoly to unfairly raise the rates they charge developers, thereby decreasing the actual revenue a developer receives from shareware/commercial sales of their products.
