Handheld screen that’s a scanner

This screen not only acts as a 3.5-inch QVGA active-matrix color display, <A HREF="http://www.brighthand.com/article/Toshiba_Demonstrates_Screen_That-s_Also_Scanner">it can also capture images,</A> such as color photos or printed text. This unique device utilizes low temperature polysilicon (LTPS) technology, which allows for patterning of additional IC circuits directly onto the glass substrate.
