Mobile data protection

CREDANT Technologies, has introduced version 3.5 of its security and management software platform, CREDANT Mobile Guardian, at the Gartner Mobile and Wireless Summit 2004 in Chicago. The upgrade introduces new functionality that includes the ability to control the use of cameras on smartphones, encryption of emails and attachments, self-service password reset for Research in Motion (RIM) devices, and single sign-on for Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Palm-based devices.
