Spirit set free

The Martian rover <A HREF="http://www.space.com/missionlaunches/spirit_update_040113.html">Spirit</A> has been given the go ahead to begin roaming. After leaving its landing platform, Spirit will conduct rock and soil tests, then move on to explore a crater, but JPL scientists want it to head for the hills in those awesome pictures.
