
IBM says its stack of middleware software, WebSphere Everyplace Connection Manager, WebSphere Everyplace Access, and DB2 database software will support Sharp’s Zaurus PDA for Enterprises in a Linux-based mobile solution. ebizQ.com reports that running WebSphere Everyplace Access software on the Linux-based device, remote workers will be able to access Web applications like PIM and email and also be able to retrieve information from IBM’s DB2 database software.
