Enhanced Gigabit backbone switch

SMC Networks announced that it has <A HREF="http://www.smc.com">enhanced its Gigabit backbone switch</A>, the TigerSwitch 10/100/1000 Managed Switch (SMC8624T). The SMC8624T is available immediately. The new SMC8624T switch has 24 fixed 10/100/1000 ports, four of which can be upgraded with optional mini GBIC expansion slots for fiber connections.
