Metrowerks has added kernel-level debugging capabilities to its line of development tools for Linux environments with the launch of the CodeWarrior Development Studio, ARM ISA Edition for Linux Platform Development, Version 2.0. In addition to its support for ARM processors, Metrowerks expects to soon extend Linux kernel-level debug capabilities to other architectures, including Motorola’s PowerQUICC and ColdFire product families.
