
Qvadis has received the first Innovative Technology Achievement Award by the Digital Literature Institute, organizer of the 2002 Independent e-Book Awards. Winners were announced during the inaugural Digital Literature Festival recently held in Santa Barbara, California. Judges included Martin Eberhard, former CEO and co-founder of NuvoMedia, creators of the revolutionary Rocket eBook, and other industry luminaries. Qvadis was recognized for Innovative Technology Achievement, an award presented for the development of software, hardware, or technical information that benefits the field of digital literature. Finalists in the category included E-Ink, developers of electronic paper technology, and OverDrive, developers of ReaderWorks publishing tools for Microsoft Reader.
