Metrowerks announced that its CodeWarrior Development Tools for intent Media Platform is the first third party development tool suite to support Hitachi, Ltd.’s new SH-Mobile (SuperH Mobile Application Processor) series. SH-Mobile allows high speed processing of multimedia applications for next-generation mobile phone systems. CodeWarrior Development Tools for intent Media Platform is designed to let developers create applications that run on a multitude of media devices through the innovative intent platform from the TAO Group. This includes set-top boxes, PDAs, next-generation handsets, digital cameras, and other consumer electronic devices.
