PalmGear v. Handango

Palm has recently announced that software distributor Handango now exclusively powers Palm's Software Connection Web site. Upon that publishing that announcement, we were approached by a number of developers and authors (and even our own Senior Technical Editor), telling us about their unhappiness with this new relationship. This, quite frankly, surprised us since both companies seemed rather pleasant to deal with, at least in our own experience. However, there's apparently a lot more going on behind the scenes. We can't tell you if there's a bad guy here, or if anyone really is at fault, but there's some <A HREF="http://www.dfwtechbiz.com/displayarticledetail.asp?art_id=48397&search=palmgear">interesting dirt</A> going on between these two companies, according the Dallas-Fort Worth TradeBiz.
