New Quickoffice ships

The folks at Cutting Edge have released their version 5.6 of Quickoffice. According to the <A HREF="http://www.cesinc.com/press/releases/pr_2001.10.02_quickoffice56.html">press release</A>, this release of Quickoffice features an entirely revamped version of the Quickword word processor, including full text formatting capabilities and a unique feature that enables advanced users to edit documents using standard HTML tags. This new version also offers full Office XP integration, along with improvements to Office 97 and Office 2000 integration. The Quicksheet portion of the product has also been upgraded, adding more than 20 new spreadsheet functions and optimizing the speed in which Quicksheet recalculates cells.
